Bayern have no money to buy Haaland, says Rummenigge

Former Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said the German giants will not be able to buy Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland as he expects the Norwegian to have an auction between European giants.

The 21-year-old striker has scored 65 goals in 65 appearances for Dortmund so far, arousing great interest in the transfer market.

Big giants like Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United have expressed great interest in him and Rummenigge admits that Bayern do not have the money to compete with these clubs for the Norwegian.

“We will see an auction in which he will be bought by the club that offers the highest salary. I think this is impossible for Bundesliga clubs, even Bayern,” said Rummenigge.
