Bayern Munich are insisting on keeping Robert Lewandowski in the squad.
The Polish striker has not yet decided on his future when he has one year left until the end of his contract.
Big teams like Chelsea, PSG, Manchester United and Manchester City have expressed interest in him.
On the other hand Bayern executives are trying to convince him of a new contract until 2025.
The big German newspaper Sport Bild has reported that the Bavarians have offered a new two-year contract to the Pole, from which he will earn 24 million euros a year.
The Bavarians were aiming for the transfer of Erling Haaland, but Olivier Kahn doubts the Norwegian’s physical condition and thus seeks at all costs to keep the Pole at the Allianz Arena.
Now the ball is in Lewandowski’s side, whether he accepts Bayern’s new offer or leaves in the summer.
The 33-year-old this season has been fantastic where in 36 official matches he has scored 43 goals and donated four assists.
