Darren Bent: Man United will finish the season in 7th place in the league with Solskjaer

Manchester United will finish the season in seventh place in the Premier League table, if they keep Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the post of coach until the end of the season.

This is the position of former Premier League striker Darren Bent, who fears that if United do not improve their performances, then any team in the top eight can get the maximum points against him.

The embarrassing 5-0 defeat against Liverpool on Sunday has only increased rumors of Solskjaer’s dismissal, but United have decided to keep the Norwegian still.

United are seventh in the Premier League table, eight points behind leaders Chelsea.

And if Solskjaer remains the Red Devils’ coach until the end of the season, then they will be left out of the Champions League next season, according to Bent.

“In seventh place. If they keep Solskjaer all season, honestly, in seventh place,” Bent told TalkSPORT.

“If they play like they did against Liverpool and Atalanta, each of the top eight teams in the league will get points from them.”
