Milan duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Franck Kessie are working hard to get back in the game against Lazio after the Nationals match
The Ivory Coast player and the Swede are, according to Sky Sport Italia, back in training with the red and blacks and have begun preparations for the next match that will take place at the San Siro.
Lazio and Maurizio Sarri are the first in Milan after the matches of the Nationals, who will also play against Liverpool and Juventus until the next matches.
Both players are now expected to play their first game of the 2021/22 season against the Whites, who will be a reinforcement for him for the September games.
Ibrahimovic and Kessie missed the first two games against Sampdoria and Cagliari, but Zlatan has recovered from a knee injury that kept him out since May and Kessie has had a muscle problem, an injury he suffered before the start of the new season.
Ibrahimovic had to have an arthroscopic operation on his left knee but the Swede has, according to the well-known media, shown signals that he has recovered and this can be seen in training.
Olivier Giroud is currently out due to coronavirus infection and the return of the Swede would help to take his place from the beginning of this difficult schedule.
Milan reportedly aim to get Zlatan 100 percent ready for the Champions League match against Liverpool, but the 39-year-old wants to play against Lazio this weekend as well.
It is not certain if Ibrahimovic will be ready to play the whole match against the “Eagles”, but Kessie, on the other hand, is expected to start and return as the protagonists of the Milan red and blacks.
