Milan in talks with Donnarumma and Calhanoglu for the extension of the contract

Milan finished second in Serie A and qualifying for the Champions League is expected to convince Donnarumma and Calhanoglu to stay at the San Siro. The duo’s contract expires in June and the Rossoneri will enter into renegotiations to understand the goals of the two players.

Sky Sport Italia reports that Milan has started planning for the new edition and is working on building the team for the 2021/22 edition.

First, is the Italian goalkeeper, Donnarumma, whom Milan will try to persuade to stay. Milan will contact his agent, Mino Raiola to find out if anything has changed after qualifying for the Champions League. But the Rossoneri are not optimistic and do not intend to increase their offer of seven million euros, plus bonuses.

The same goes for Calhanoglu who will talk to the club in the coming days. The club has offered the Turkish representative an offer of 4 million euros, but it is reported that he has received a pharaonic offer from a club from Qatar.

Everything is expected to be clarified in the coming days. In case Donnarumma does not accept the offer, Milan will try to transfer Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan.
