Cristiano Ronaldo will play at least one more season at Manchester United.
This was provided by the future coach of the “Red Devils”, Erik ten Hag.
Until now it was not known whether the 37-year-old is part of the plans of the Dutch coach, who aims to bring a new spirit to “Old Trafford”, giving the opportunity to new players.
But, it seems that part of the “broom” of the English giant will not be the five-time winner of the Golden Ball.
“I want to keep Cristiano at Manchester United, of course. He has been very important for this club,” said the current Ajax coach.
“Ronaldo is a giant, for everything he has shown so far and for how ambitious he is,” concluded Ten Hag.
Even the former footballer of Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid and Juventus days ago had expressed the desire to stay in the “Theater of Dreams”.
He returned to his former club last summer and had a positive season on a personal level.
But, United is going through a depressing season and as a result was left out of the Champions for the next edition.
