Pato: I’m ready to go back to Milan

He has a contract with Orlando City until December 2022, but dreams of a return to the “Rossoneri”.

Pato joined Milan in January 2008 scoring 63 goals in 150 appearances.

Despite a furious initiative, he spent most of his time in Italy facing a series of injuries.

The Brazilian then left the Red and Blacks in 2013 to join the Brazilian club, the Corinthians.

And now, he would like to return to the San Siro.

“I feel good in Orlando and I have a contract there. But Maldini knows that I am ready to return.” said Pato.

“Now I am more prudent, I have a different attitude and I see football differently. I could be more useful to new players. I miss Italy and the Italians. I have always said to my wife: ‘One day, I will send you to Italy and you will understand what I am talking about. To me, Milan is a beloved city. I have learned a lot here and I miss everything about Milan. I would like to return to the club. After all, there are players of different ages who play in Serie A.” he continued.

This is not the first time Pato has offered himself to Milan.

He hopes that “Rossoneri” will win the title of champion and be more successful than Inter in tonight’s semifinal.
