Raiola’s ‘crazy’ demands that canceled Haaland’s transfer to Chelsea

With the transfer of Lionel Messi to Paris Saint-Germain, the sensational rumors surrounding the future of Kylian Mbappe and Cristiano Ronaldo, have left Erling Haaland behind.

The Borussia Dortmund sensation had previously been linked to a departure from the German club this summer, but there seemed to be nothing very concrete in those reports.

One of the clubs he was in talks to join was Chelsea. The Blues are back from Romelu Lukaku and it is not difficult to understand why following the details of Haaland’s proposed contract at Stamford Bridge.

According to the German newspaper Bild, Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, demanded a salary of 820,000 pounds a week!

But it does not end there.

Raiola also wanted a fee of 40 million euros as a commission, while in bonuses of the player, the transfer is believed to go up to 250 million euros.

This is before they consider the transfer fee with Dortmund estimating the Norwegian at 150 million.

It really would have been one of the biggest deals in football history and there would have been Raiola fingerprints everywhere.
