Statistics: Benzema before Haaland and Lewandowski

Leagues have just started in Europe, but some of the continent’s best strikers have already “exploded”.

Only five rounds have been played so far in Europe’s top five leagues, with the exception of Ligue 1 in France, where they have played six and Serie A, where they have played 4, but some impressive figures have already been reached.

1. Karim Benzema (11)

At the age of 33, the Frenchman is well and a great help to Real Madrid and his understanding with Vinicius has led to a killer partnership, as evidenced in the 2-1 victory over Valencia.

Benzema is at the top of the standings with six goals and five assists in just five games.

2. Erling Haaland (10)

The Norwegian started the season after finishing the last one, scoring goals for fun. He has seven goals to his name in five games, one goal every 64 minutes and has also made three assists.

3. Robert Lewandowski (7)

The Bayern Munich striker has the same number of goals as Haaland (7) however he has yet to record any assists. The Polish striker scored 41 goals in 34 league games last season and seems to be aiming for a similar result this season.
