Inter has rejected an offer worth 100 million euros plus Marcos Alonso from Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku, according to Italian media, which warn that it is not over.
Chelsea are looking for a striker this summer and their eyes are on the Belgian striker of Inter.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Chelsea’s offer for Lukaku amounts to 100 million euros plus the transfer of winger Alonso to Inter.
Even this offer has not been accepted by the Italian champion, but the Italian broadcaster warns that this issue does not end with that, because Chelsea is ready to go too far to reach its former striker.
Inter financial problems are well known, but they are determined to keep the key player, who was crucial in winning the Serie A title last season.
Lukaku does not want to leave Inter either, as he has found his life form in the Nerazzurri shirt and with it he is enjoying football in Italy, with 24 goals in 36 matches in Serie A last season.
He had a brief experience with Chelsea, but the London club did not give him the support he needed to thrive, which he found at the San Siro.
