Chelsea and Real Madrid will play the returning challenge at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. On Zidane’s side three players have recovered for this match; Sergio Ramos, Ferland Mendy and Fede Valverde.
Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea coach, stated before the match with Real Madrid that if Sergio Ramos starts, then it will be another “story” the confrontation at “Stamford Bridge”, unlike the first one at “Alfredo di Stefano”.
He says his team needs to prepare with the idea that Ramos will start and trusts him to write history with Chelsea and qualify for the final.
Ramos missed the first meeting, but has already returned to train with the team and it is reported that Zinedine Zidane will risk putting as a starter in the game without playing in a match since the injury more than a month.
“The best lesson we learned from the first game was that we can trust ourselves and that we have every right in the world to be in these semi-finals. We have won being at this level of this race. I do not know if Ramos will be able to play tomorrow, but it is something that changes things for tomorrow because he is the captain of the most successful team in recent years. We can not lose our minds thinking about this issue, I think he will start and we must be prepared for it,” he said.
