Inter are reportedly planning to cut costs and are awaiting Antonio Conte’s decision, but no meeting has been scheduled with President Steven Zhang.
Il Corriere dello Sport reports that Conte is expected to meet with Zhang, but the president believes he has already been quite clear about the club’s plans and prospects through the directors.
The situation has not changed in relation to a meeting between the two parties and the request to reduce costs is said to have annoyed the Nerazzurri coach.
Conte will explain his intentions and if he decides to cooperate with Zhang, then there is absolute readiness to arrange a meeting.
Conte is still concerned that the plan to cut costs could mean some of the key players will leave, as Alessandro Bastoni and Lautaro Martinez are being cited as potential targets for big clubs in Europe.
The club believes it has already been clear with the coach from Lecce and Inter are awaiting Contes’ decision.
