Mike Maignan is officially part of Milan.
The goalkeeper, originally from French Guiana, who just won the French champion title with Lille, has signed a contract that will keep him tied with the red and black club until the summer of 2026.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper has grown up in the youth sector of Paris Saint Germain, while 6 years ago he transferred to Lille, where especially in the last three seasons he has become an absolute starter and one of the strongest points of the French club, with him which team triumphed last season.
Maignan has chosen to wear the number 16 jersey at Milan and is expected to take the place of the goalkeeper, left vacant by Gianluigi Donnarumma, who preferred not to renew his contract with the red and blacks and will leave with zero parameters.
“I am very happy to have joined Milan, one of the biggest clubs in the world, with ambition and a project for the future. I’m very happy to be here. “I can’t wait to experience the passion of the fans,” he said.
