Roy Keane has praised English midfielder Jack Grealish, comparing the England star to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Grealish produced a strong performance for the ‘Three Lions’ on Wednesday night as they beat Austria 1-0 in a friendly match.

His appearance eased fears for the player’s condition as he played just four games for Aston Villa since mid-February after spending three months off the field due to injury.

The game and character of the English midfielder has been highly praised by Manchester United legend Keane, who has compared Grealish to Ronaldo.

“He is the star of the team, he makes things happen. He has the courage and always wants the ball in tight areas,” Keane told ITV.

“Like Cristiano Ronaldo in Portugal, you need such players in your team. Grealish is brave,” concluded the United legend.
