Today (Friday) June 11, 2021 officially begins the European Championship called as Euro 2020 because it was supposed to take place last year, but the coronavirus pandemic postponed for a year.

It was expected that the national team has finally arrived, but even football fans today will enjoy the official launch of Euro 2020.

The 24 national teams will compete against each other in six groups for the highly prized European Championship trophy.

Today (Friday) the ball is rolled for the first time in the opening match of Euro 2020 between Turkey and Italy.

Turkey and Italy are part of Group A, while the match is expected to start at 21:00 and take place at the Stadio Olimpico.

There is no other match on the schedule for today and all the attention will be between the two well-known national football teams.
