The Netherlands won the dramatic match against Ukraine at the Johan Cruijff Arena, winning 3-2 in Group C as part of Euro 2020.
The first half between the Netherlands and Ukraine in Group C within Euro 2020 ended without goals.
After just two minutes of play, the Tulips managed to risk through Memphis Depay, but goalkeeper Georgi Bushchan was in his place.
Three minutes later, Denzel Dumfries had a good chance to score, but Buschan again waited.
It was the 28th minute when the chance came for Ukraine to risk through Andryi Yarmolenko, but it was stopped by the Dutch defenders.
Ukraine could have conceded three goals in the first half, but Bushchan also waited for Georgino Wijnaldum’s shot (39 ‘).
The second 45 minutes started quite furiously, scoring a full five goals.
It was the 52nd minute of the meeting when Georginio Wijnladum scored for 1-0, giving the Tulips the lead.
Only seven minutes passed from the first goal and the Dutch scored the second through Wout Weghorst.
But the Ukrainians did not give up, narrowing the 2-1 lead of the Netherlands with the goal of Andriy Yarmolenko (75 ‘).
After just four minutes, Ukraine managed to level the score at 2-2 through Roman Yaremchuk, igniting the challenge.
However, the Tulips did not back down and regained the lead to 3-2, with a goal by Denzel Dumfries (85 ‘) assisted by Nathan Ake.
Group C matches in the first round ended, while Austria is the leader with three points, as much as the Netherlands, while Ukraine and Northern Macedonia have no points.
