Switzerland has secured a place in the knockout stage thanks to results from Group B and C.

The Helvetians completed their group stage, while waiting to know the fate of the two previous groups.

In Group B, Belgium closed out as leaders with nine points, Denmark, Finland and Russia with three each, causing the Danes to move on.

On the other hand, in that C, the Netherlands as the leader with nine, Austria with six, Ukraine with three and Northern Macedonia with none.

Thus, Switzerland, which collected four points, was a better team than the third place team in Group B and C, which finished with three.
