France as the leader, Germany as the second and Portugal as the third best are the last teams that have secured a place among the top 16 in the European Championship.

Germany has narrowly qualified for the quarter-finals of Euro 2020.

At the Allianz Arena, Germany twice saw themselves out of the European Championship, but twice reacted to equalize with Havert 1-1 in the 66th minute and Goretzka 2-2 in the 84th minute to qualify further as the second with four points, until Hungary was eliminated.

In the evening match, Portugal and France donated spectacle, a challenge that ended 2-2 and that both teams went on, France as the leader and Portugal as the third best.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema make the difference by scoring two goals for their national team, a challenge in which three penalties were awarded, two for Portugal and one for France.

CR7 did not err from the penalty spot twice and reached a historic record in terms of goals scored with the National, 109 as much as the legend, Ali Daei who held this record before this match.

In the next round Germany will have to play against England, while France and Portugal will soon learn their opponents.
