Giovanni Di Lorenzo has said that Italy knows very well how strong a striker Romelu Lukaku is, but has insisted that Belgium has many good players, before the quarter-final meeting at Euro 2020 on Friday.
The Napoli full-back spoke to UEFA.com two days before Italy plays against the Belgian Red Devils and was asked if the Italians were prepared to face Inter striker Lukaku.
Lukaku has scored three goals so far at Euro 2020 and Di Lorenzo says he is not the only threat to Roberto Martinez’s squad.
“We know Lukaku well because we face him in Serie A. We know he is a great striker, he had a great season at Inter,” said Di Lorenzo.
“We have to watch it, but Belgium has a lot of strong players and it will be a strong match,” he added.
