Antonio Rudiger is back on Real Madrid’s radar as the Spanish giants consider a possible move for the Chelsea center-back this summer.

Real Madrid had been monitoring the 29-year-old for months, but they failed to meet his demands for high salaries.

However, Rudiger’s agent has reduced the demands for a deal and he is now very much a transfer target for Real Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti held a meeting with Florentino Perez last Friday to look for reinforcements for a team that has performed brilliantly throughout the season but has some areas for improvement.

One of the players he has been looking for is the Chelsea defender, whose contract expires on June 30 and could be the first player to leave in a possible exodus to Stamford Bridge this summer due to their financial problems.

Ancelotti believes that while his center-back options are strong, they could be even better.

Also, Rudiger’s arrival could see David Alaba move to the left wing to cover Ferland Mendy and Marcelo due to multiple injuries.
