Arsenal failed to sign Dusan Vlahovic, the Serb who was looking to join a team playing in the Champions League. But, “Gunners” are still looking for a striker and for this they have their eyes on the La Liga strikers.
With the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang coming to an end and Alexandre Lacazette, whose contract expires in the summer, Mikel Arteta is aiming for the transfer of the three strikers, as he was unsuccessful in buying Vlahovic.
What are these Arsenal goals
The first is Alexander Isak of Real Sociedad, who has been followed by the club for some time. Real Sociedad has given him a release clause for 80 million euros, which is a large amount, but that does not mean that things will change during the negotiations.
The Swede would be interested in a move to the Emirates Stadium but they have not yet made an offer for him.
Behind him is Luka Jovic, who also wants to leave Real Madrid because there are no minutes played.
Serbia has proven itself as a classy striker in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt in the past and a move to the Premier League would be perfect at this stage to show its talent.
Arsenal would like a loan deal with the option to buy in the summer, although Real Madrid would like to sell him on a deal as soon as possible.
The third target is Espanyol striker Raul de Thomas. The former Real Madrid player has been very good this season, and Juventus was also interested in him.
His clause is 70 million euros, however, this amount is high for the Gunners, much less that he is 27 years old and has not yet shown himself at a high level club.
