Ansu Fati worries Barcelona

Ansu Fati has not yet played a full match since returning from a serious knee injury a year ago.

In the “El Clasico” lost 1-2, the 18-year-old was replaced in the 73rd minute by Aguero after feeling discomfort in his right knee, thankfully in the unoperated one.

The Barcelona doctor quickly approached him to ask about the pain he was feeling. Cameras captured the player’s desperate face, sitting on the grass and showing his knee as he was comforted by goalkeeping coach Ramon de la Fuente.

In the following days it will be seen if Ansu Fati will have pain or it is something transient, due to inactivated knee inactivity. Barca are worried because the calendar is packed with matches every three days. The next match is on Wednesday in Rayo Vallecano.

In principle, if it shows no further problems, Ansu is expected to recover in time. Koeman is also looking forward to the return of Ousmane Dembélé, who will receive the “ok” from the medical staff this Tuesday.
