Barcelona has been looking for Kessie since January

Milan midfielder Franck Kessie’s contract expires in June next year, while reports in Spain point out that Barcelona want to transfer him in January.

The situation is tense in Milan, as negotiations for the extension of the contract are stalled.

The Rossoneri have already lost Donnarumma to PSG and Hakan Calhanoglu to Inter on free transfers, following the same situations.

There could be a way out for both the player and the club, as Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona are ready to make an offer for Kessie in January.

They would face competition from Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United, who have long been linked with the Ivory Coast international.

If Milan were to sell in January, they would at least be able to bring in money for the player.
