Barcelona will try to sell French defender Samuel Umtiti at all costs in the January transfer window.

France international Umtiti has long been out of the club or coach Ronald Koeman’s plans.

Barca have been trying to make money from the sale of Umtiti for some time, mainly due to his high salary and constant troubles with injuries.

Despite numerous attempts to remove him in the summer, Umtiti did not accept the departure even when he was allowed to leave for free.

It remains to be seen if Barcelona will be able to find any new club for the 27-year-old in the winter transfer window.
