Juventus defender Matthijs De Ligt has ended up on Barcelona’s shortlist for transfer this summer.
The Catalan club is interested in further strengthening the team, especially after the arrival of Joan Laporta as president at the Camp Nou.
The defense department is the position where the club leaders intend to strengthen it and there are already some names that are being linked with a transfer.
According to the Catalan newspaper Sport, Barcelona is interested in a move for Juventus center-back De Ligt over the summer.
The 21-year-old Dutch international would be the second new face in midfield, with Eric Garcia also set to complete a move from Manchester City in the coming months.
With the arrival of these two reinforcements, Barcelona is expected to release the French duo, Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti, while Gerard Pique is expected to remain together with Oscar Mingueza and Sergio Araujo.
