Bayern Munich has officially opened talks for the transfer of Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum.

Wijnaldum’s contract with Liverpool expires this summer and the interest from the “Bavarians” is concrete, reports Sky Sports.

The Dutch midfielder was linked with a move to Barcelona last season, but also this season.

Wijnaldum is not expected to extend his contract with Liverpool, while in the coming days his decision may be announced.

With the team from “Anfield” Wijnaldum spent five seasons playing 178 games.
