Manchester United have entered the race to buy Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele at the last minute, competing with Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG has already reached an agreement with Bara for Dembele, but United have now entered the race for the services of the Frenchman.
According to British media, United have contacted Dembele’s representatives on the last day of the winter transfer window.
The Red Devils are looking for a striker, following the departure of Anthony Martial on loan to Sevilla.
Jesse Lingard is expected to leave as well, while Mason Greenwood has been temporarily expelled from the club after being arrested on suspicion of rape and assault on his girlfriend.
Barcelona paid him 116 million euros for Dembele in 2017 and asked him to accept a pay cut or leave.
The Catalans are eager to get rid of Dembele, in order to pave the way for the approach of one of the attackers, Alvaro Morata or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
