“El Clasico” is coming. After 25 years, Barcelona and Real Madrid will go down on the field and play “El Clasico” without the footballers who have written history, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Messi plays El Clasico since 2004, Ronaldo came to Spain in 2009 and played until 2018, until Messi left in the summer, in 2021 – which means that the clubs will go down on the field relying entirely on other weapons.
Before this match, Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema spoke.
He knows it’s a special, important challenge, but Real were embarrassed in the Champions League weeks ago and Benzema says it’s time to save the face when Madrid a few days before El Clasico come down to the pitch and face Shakhtar.
“It is a very important match for us, we are going to win and get three points because after losing to Sheriff it was very difficult. We lost the challenge even though we had many chances. After this match comes El Clasico, it is a completely different challenge”, said Benzema.
