Giorgio Chiellini is experiencing one of the most beautiful summers of his career.

The triumph as captain at “Euro 2020” probably represented the highest point achieved in his long journey as a footballer, but the time for celebrations is already over.

Chiellini is officially without a team, but there is no doubt that he will again be one of Juventus’ key players next season.

He and the club are convinced to continue together again and the contract renewal will not be delayed.

“I need a few more days off to recover, but on Monday I will be happy to be back in Turin again,” he said.

“European champion? I did not even dream of raising the cup as the captain of the national team. We are happy to play football in our city, but here we have gone beyond the most beautiful dream. I want to lift some more cups, because the appetite comes from eating.”

Even the president of the whites, Andrea Agnelli, a few days ago said that the renewal of the contract is not a problem, which means that Chiellini will continue to play in Turin.
