Conte is expected to replace Arteta at Arsenal

Former Inter coach Antonio Conte is reportedly in the running to replace Mikel Arteta as Arsenal manager.

According to The Telegraph, the Spanish coach has five games for his future, otherwise the club will fire him.

The Gunners had a difficult start to the season with two losses in the first two Premier League games.

According to the newspaper, Conte is one of the candidates to replace Arteta if the latter is fired.

The Italian left Inter after two past seasons at the club. He won the Scudetto in the 2020/21 season, but ended his contract with Inter by mutual agreement due to differing opinions about the club’s future and summer transfer strategy.

Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku left Giuseppe Meazza a few weeks after Conte left, completing transfers to PSG and Chelsea respectively.
