Courtois reveals Hazard’s future

The future of Eden Hazard remains a mystery, but Thibaut Courtois, now insists that the striker is not going anywhere and will stay at Real Madrid for the next edition.

MARCA revealed that the club had thrown him on the market, although his teammate and compatriot has no doubts about where Hazard will play in the 2021/22 season.

“I am 100 percent sure he will stay, he does not want to leave,” the goalkeeper said in an interview with Le Soir and Sudpresse.

“Only the Madrid press writes about a desire to leave. He wants to go on, play without injury and win titles.

“We all know that in Madrid there is pressure and criticism from the press and fans, but Eden can handle it. I know him well enough to be able to say it, he can still change everything.

“He still wants to be an important player for Real Madrid and win titles, this season he has worked hard in the gym and is in good shape.

“Physically, he is stronger than ever, in training he looks very good, as before with the national team or Chelsea,” said Courtois.

He further said that if he shows good form in the Euro he would also help him in the Spanish club

“If he can play a little bit against Croatia and be important in the Euro, it would be good for the national team, but also for him and Real Madrid next season,” the Belgian concluded.
