“He does not want him in the team”, “If he stays then Ronaldo leaves”, are the numerous headlines of the English media since the arrival of Ralf Rangnick, as if he does not love CR7.
But, Crisitano Ronaldo seems to have a completely different opinion, thus refuting the rumors lately, that he does not have good relations with the new coach.
On the contrary, he believes that Rangnick’s arrival has changed United, only that he needs a little more time.
“Since he arrived a few weeks ago, a lot has changed,” Ronaldo told Sky Sports. “But he needs time to convey his ideas to the players.”
“It takes time, but I believe it will do a good job. We know we are not playing the best football, but we have a lot of games ahead of us to improve.”
“Since he came, I believe that to some extent we are better, but he needs time. It is not easy to change the mentality of the players and the way they play, the culture, the game system and other things. I believe he will do a fantastic job.”
After 21 rounds in the Premier League, United ranks eighth with 21 points, 22 less than the leader, Manchester City.
