Karim Benzema has returned to the French national team after a six-year absence.

Before the big comeback, the Real Madrid striker met with the coach, Didier Deschamps, but it is not known what they talked about in particular.

Deschamps says Benzema is not new to the team, he is part like everyone else, as he refused to comment on anything about the meeting between them.

“He comes to a group that knows him, they know him and he has his place, in the same way as the rest of the players,” Deschamps told to a news conference, the first in preparation for the European Championship starts from June 11 and will last until July 11.

“I understand that you are eager to know the details (of the conversation with Benzema), but you will not hear from me… About Karim, I do not know, he has the freedom to speak.”
