Another Real Madrid legend, in a way, left the back door from Los Blancos.
Thursday was a sad day for all Madrid fans, as a legend like Sergio Ramos, left Real Madrid after 16 years, at the age of 35.
While Manchester City are offering a new contract to a 36-year-old like Fernandinho and many other footballers at various clubs, Florentino Perez once again showed an iron fist by disrespecting a club legend, all the more so as he wanted to renew, though decided to stay too late, just last week.
Real has always been criticized for dismissing the legends in an unprecedented way, starting with Fernando Hierro, then Raul Gonzales, then Guti, Iker Casillas and finally the climax was with Cristiano Ronaldo, who was neither greeted nor made a ceremony following the breakdown of relations with the club president.
Real and Perez once again did not think twice about everything Ramos has given to the club and about the desire he had to stay, leaving him as if he were a player like everyone else.
