Catalonia will allow 100 per cent capacity at sporting events from this Friday, opening the door for Barcelona to play the rest of their season with fans present at their Camp Nou stadium.
It has been allowed nationally since the end of September, but individual autonomous communities have been able to make their own rules.
It was also a matter of time before countries and clubs made decisions.
However, now Barcelona will be able to have the help of fans in a crowded stadium, with a capacity of 100 percent.
Barcelona not only need the support of their fans to turn a terrible season, but they also have some great games to come – all at home.
This Sunday’s clash against Pepe Bordala’s Valencia will be a very difficult match and will not become easier from there.
After that they will play at home against Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League, in front of an El Clasico at home.
This of course will also affect Espanyol, who are fighting at the bottom of the table.
A Catalan derby will take place between the two clubs at the end of November, and hopefully there will now be a great atmosphere.
