Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted that the 1-0 defeat against Porto was Milan’s worst performance this season.

Luis Diaz scored the only goal and the triumph for Porto at the Estadio do Dragao, causing the third defeat in a row for the red and blacks.

Milan are pointless after the first three games and are now less likely to advance to the group stage for the first time in the Champions League in seven years.

“Of the three games so far, this was the worst performance, so we do not deserve the points,” said Ibrahimovic after the game.

“Sometimes you can play badly and still score points, but it doesn’t matter. We have to remember that this is the first participation in the Champions League for many of our players and they need to grow,” he added.

In the next Group B match, Liverpool beat Atletico Madrid 3: 2 in a dramatic match.

Liverpool is now the leader with 9 points, Atletico and Porto have four points each, while Milan is last without points.
