Newcastle United and Juventus have entered the race for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele after his manager contacted both clubs.
The representative of France, Dembele has an agreement with Barca only until June 2022 and has not expressed a desire to continue it.
This means that Dembele is free to talk to other clubs from January and leave for free in the summer.
Dembele wants to leave the Camp Nou and his next club could be one between Newcastle and Juventus.
It is reported that Barcelona still wants to keep Dembele, however, after making an offer to extend the agreement for another two or three years.
But the club’s offer has fallen on deaf ears, as Dembele’s manager has not responded to it.
It is believed that Dembele, who returned to training with Barca this week after suffering an injury to France at Euro 2020, would prefer to move to the Premier League, the club newly acquired by Arab sheikhs.
