Juventus has scheduled a meeting for new talks with Sassuolo in an attempt to reach an agreement for Manuel Locatelli – reports Goal.

The 23-year-old is the main target of the Old Lady this summer after the great season in Serie A and participation in ‘Euro 2020’ that Italy won.

Arsenal are another club interested in his services, but the striker prefers Juventus because of the Champions League.

The Bianconeri have made an offer for a two-year loan with the option of buying for 30 million euros, but Sassuolo has rejected it.

The club that owns Locatelli will only consider the immediate purchase worth at least 40 million euros.

The player has a contract at Mapei Stadium until 2023, while on Wednesday or Thursday a new meeting is expected to take place between the representatives of the clubs.
