Juventus release Sarri to join Lazio

After the disappointment suffered by Simone Inzaghi, who refused the renewal at the last moment to transfer to Inter, the leaders of Lazio are ready to entrust the bench to another big Italian name, namely Maurizio Sarri.

Igli Tare has previously met the manager of the Italian technician, Fali Ramadani and in the coming hours is expected to negotiate with Sarri himself, before concretizing everything with a two-year contract.

Quite good news for the parties has come from Juventus, which until midnight today has the right to renew Sarri’s contract for another year, or give him a compensation of 2.5 million euros and it seems that the club’s management black and white have chosen the second option.

This means that from the next day Sarri is a free coach and can lead further negotiations with Lazio, where he has been offered a three-year contract with a salary of 3 million euros per season, plus bonuses on achievements.

The former Napoli, Chelsea and Juventus coach is looking forward to returning to another squad and Lazio could be the right place to show the white and black leaders that they were wrong to sack him a season ago.
