The new calendar for the 2021/22 season in La Liga has already been revealed.
What stands out are the first matches of Real Madrid in Spain.
Due to the reconstruction of the Santiago Bernabeu, which is not yet ready, the media in Spain reported that Real has requested that the first matches be played away from home, to gain more time.
Real will play the first three games on the road, initially on August 15 against Alaves, on August 22 against Levante and on August 29 against Real Betis.
The pad will have a break of at least two weeks due to the Nationals and Real will be back in action with the home game, against Celta Vigo on 12 September.
Thus, Real will have one more month to prepare the field and the stadium inside, while the works will continue until the end of 2022, when the renovation of the “Santiago Bernabeu” is expected to be completed.
