Long list of players leaving Barcelona

Many sales and departures are expected to take place at Camp Nou during the summer.

The winds of change are felt in the air in Barcelona. After a disappointing season, Joan Laporta has decided to do a lot of sales at the club over the summer.

While continuing with the squad of key players like Sergio Busquets, Sergi Roberto, Gerard Pique and Lionel Messi depends on cutting their salary by less than 50 percent, Barcelona will hear about offers for all players on the squad. Even some players, who are considered irreplaceable, can leave if there are good offers for them.

There are around nine future players who have been shown the door and that is why.

While the Brazilian’s contract runs until 2023, the club has decided to sell him this summer, looking to replace him with any players from the academy youth.

Junior Firpo

Having made several appearances for the first team this season, the club is looking to sell him over the summer.

Samuel Umtiti

It has been a poor season for the Frenchman, who has played very little also due to injuries and looks a completely different player from the one he has been. The club will find it difficult to sell him as his contract expires in 2023 and he has a high salary.

He is one of the players whose presence in the team is difficult to explain. The club will look to sell him this summer.

Carles Alena

He returns from his loan at the end of the season. He is looking for other clubs and Barcelona will not find it difficult to sell him.

Philippe Couotinh

Barcelona has prioritized the sale of the Brazilian this summer, as it has high costs to keep him.

Riqui Puig

He was not able to win a place in the first team of any coach. The ideal situation would be for Barcelona to either sell him or even sell him with a clause.

Miralem Pjanic

Arriving last summer, Pjanic has struggled to find his form at the Camp Nou. Barcelona will look to sell him over the summer, but it will be difficult to do because of the high price it has and finding that a potential buyer.

Martin Braithwaite

Having come for a short time, his desire to stay at the club, with a contract until 2024, will be difficult for Barcelona to sell him. Maybe signing with some other striker will change his mind, but they will find it difficult to sell him.
