But, a year after the Premier League triumph, Liverpool had a disappointing season, where they barely secured a place in the Champions League in the final round.

He has now admitted this, but has promised it will be different this season.

“It was not my best season, I know that. As I have always said, it can happen in football, but I think it will not be the same next season. I am more ready, mentally, physically, everything, so I think it will be an exciting season in personal terms”, he declared.
