Meunier reveals the conversation with Perez, blamed him for Hazard’s injury

Thomas Meunier has been blamed and even today, continues to be blamed for Eden Hazard’s stalemate with the Real Madrid jersey.

Hazard started his adventure at Real with injuries, as 24 hours before the start of La Liga, he was injured and had to wait three games to debut with the Madrid jersey after transferring from Chelsea for more than 100 million euros.

In any case, the most serious injury came later, on November 26, 2019, when Real drew 2-2 with PSG at the “Santiago Bernabeu”.

Meunier, instead of the ball hit the ankle of Hazard, who despite having already operated in that place for almost two years, continues to limp and has problems.

Angry Perez, had immediately met that day with the Belgian who hurt his compatriot, who has now revealed the conversation he had with the president of Real.

“After the match I was in the tunnel of the locker rooms and met the president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez. I approached him and introduced him, saying “pleasure” (that we met). Then he started talking to me in French. I did not know he spoke French.”

“He said to me: Pleasure ?! Do you realize that you hurt me Hazard? And now say pleasure! Then I replied that it was not my fault that Hazard was injured, but he kept insisting that I injured him,” said Meunier.
