Milan star: I am angry because we could have won against Liverpool

Brahim Diaz is outraged by Milan’s 3-2 loss to Liverpool in the Champions League because he believes his side could have won Wednesday at Anfield.

The meeting at Anfield between the two European giants was magical, with Liverpool completely dominating in the first 30 minutes and taking the lead through Trent-Alexander Arnold, before Mohamed Salah missed the penalty.

But Ante Rebic and Diaz scored once within two minutes to reverse the score for Milan.

“We did not start the game in the best way, they were aggressive and strong. But then we showed more quality and intensity to reverse the result,” Diaz told Sky Sport.

Salah tied the score at 2: 2 right after the start of the second half, before Jordan Henderson scored the triumph for the red with a fantastic half volley.

“Unfortunately, because it is difficult to create an advantage here and we did it, but we conceded two more goals and lost the game,” added the Spaniard.

“I am angry because I feel we could have won here, so this result makes me angry.” he said.
