Milan are the team that has spent the most in Serie A so far, as they have invested almost 60 million euros in new transfers.
The Rossoneri have just announced the signing of Olivier Giroud from Chelsea for a reported amount of 1 million euros plus 1 million in bonuses.
The 34-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Rossoneri. Giroud has joined the Serie A giants, following the example of players Mike Maignan and Fikayo Tomori.
Maignan was transferred to the San Siro with a €16 million deal from Lille to replace Gigio Donnarumma, while Tomori completed a permanent €28 million move from Chelsea.
The English center-back had spent six months on loan in Milan in the 2020-21 season.
The Rossoneri have also made the move of Sandro Tonali permanent for 7 million euros plus 3 million additional, while Brahim Diaz has returned to the club with a two-year loan worth 3 million, but has paid for two years.
Therefore, Milan has already invested 53.5 million euros plus an additional 4 million, but the amount will reach 57.5 million euros plus 4.5 million once Fodé Ballo-Touré completes a 4.5 million euro move from Monaco.
The 23-year-old was expected to undergo medical tests with the Rossoneri this morning, but both clubs have yet to resolve some details of their deal.
