As already reported during the day, Maurizio Sarri has been officially appointed the new coach of Lazio, the Serie A club for which the Kosovo striker Vedat Muriqi plays.
Sarri, the former coach of Juventus and Napoli, will replace Simone Inzaghi on the bench of Lazio, who rejected the new offer to join Inter.
The coach has signed a two-year deal with the club from the Italian capital, which will keep him at the club until June 30, 2023.
The 62-year-old coach will earn 3 million euros a year at the Olympic Stadium, but his salary could increase to 4 million euros a year if he manages to bring Lazio back to the Champions League.
