Brazilian center-back Thiago Silva has extended his contract with European champions Chelsea.

Silva was the leader of the team, which he led to European glory by winning the second title of the Champions League.

The 36-year-old, who came to Chelsea last year, has extended his contract for another year with the team from “Stamford Bridge”.

His goal now will be to triumph in the Premier League.

Under Tuchel, Chelsea recovered from winning the Champions League.

Recall that Tuchel and Silva had been together at PSG, where last season they were defeated in the final by Bayern Munich.
