Bayern Munich star David Alaba has long been the subject of transfer news to Real Madrid and his move to the Spanish capital seems to be approaching and there is already agreement between the parties.
Alaba has confirmed a few months ago that he will leave Bayern at the end of this season, while clubs interested in him have never been absent.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now reports that Alaba’s deal with Real is closer than ever with a salary and contract length agreed between the two parties.
“David Alaba will sign his contract as a ‘free agent’ with Real Madrid at the end of the season when the deal will be announced,” Romano initially wrote on social media.
“The verbal agreement between Alaba, his agents and Real’s board ended in January: they have always been leading the race to sign David.”
“Alaba’s salary will be around 12 million euros in the post-tax season. He has accepted Real Madrid’s offer as it has always been his dream to play in Spain.”
“Apart from Bayern Munich’s efforts to keep him in the last year, Chelsea, PSG, Barcelona and Liverpool have also tried to convince Alaba in recent months, but Real Madrid has always been the favorite after the verbal agreement,” the Italian expert concluded.
