Real Madrid are interested in returning defender Sergio Reguilon to the squad next summer, but want to reduce the value in the repurchase clause from Tottenham.
Having no minutes under Zidane, the defender was allowed to transfer to Spurs 13 months ago, where he is the undisputed starter.
The 24-year-old has excelled in the Premier League, where he has made 45 appearances in all competitions.
According to Defensa Central, “Los Blancos” are considering bringing the Spaniard back in the next summer transfer window.
But they hope to reduce the repurchase clause from 40 million euros to 33 million euros, a request that is expected to be rejected by Tottenham president Daniel Levy.
Meanwhile, the Madrid team has the right to activate the clause only for another year or two.
