Cristiano Ronaldo has said that his departure from Juventus to Manchester United was “the best decision he has made in his career” and stressed that he intends to “continue” where he left.
The Portuguese had been linked with a move away from the Whites all summer but he left quite at the end where he voluntarily rejoined the Red Devils.
The 36-year-old is currently with the Portuguese national team and will be reunited with his new teammates after the matches with the National Team.
Ronaldo left Torino after scoring 101 goals in 134 official matches and his transfer to United was confirmed yesterday.
The five-time Golden Ball winner, who has won two Scudetti and an Italian Cup while in the Old Lady, said in an interview with the club’s official channel that reuniting with United was “his best decision”.
“I think it was the best decision I made,” Ronaldo said in an interview with MUTV. It’s the right decision in my opinion.”
“I left Juve and now I am in Manchester for a new chapter. I am very happy and satisfied and I want to continue where I left off, make history, help Manchester to achieve high results, win trophies, the ones that have the number 1, win by doing great things ”.
Juventus has replaced Ronaldo with Moise Kean, whom he has borrowed from Everton for this season, with the obligation to buy the new season.
